Michael Kery
Founder/CEO
I have spent my life seeking not just a career or a job, but a vocation. It is not an easy task to find something that is a passionate calling but also fills a tangible, real-world need. Some never find it. I am fortunate enough to have found purpose and passion in a career in Business Intelligence. Along the way, I have nurtured and honed little pieces of that puzzle.
I attended York University for Political Science, but my electives were in Calculus. Later, I worked as a restaurant manager while operating a touchscreen cake ordering venture. I then analyzed manufacturing as a Process Analyst while studying Business. This is when the puzzle began to come together. Efficiency. People. Computers. Arithmetic. Algorithms. Excel. Lobbying. Process Improvement.
An epiphany happened when I first got my hands on a powerful Business Intelligence tool. After lobbying my employer to roll it out to forty business users in twelve months’ time, which generated seven-figure returns, it occurred to me that this was my calling. All of my life’s skills and accomplishments began to come together in one moment of clarity.
Now I want to show the rest of the world how to do it.
Dan Ryan

I’ve spent most of my professional life operating small to medium-sized independently owned businesses predominately in the perishable manufacturing and distribution space. In that time, I’ve learned innumerable lessons about what distinguishes successful teams, what defines genuine leadership and what it takes to create an exceptional organization. In all instances, the difference comes down to the visibility of high-quality data in cultures of trust.
I joined Kery Solutions as a founding partner to help share and unleash the power of what I’ve learned to as many people and organizations as possible. My primary role at Kery Solutions is to work directly with our world-class development team and our clients to make sure our solutions are addressing their true needs and are driving real results. Having been both a customer of Kery Solutions and now a part of the team leaves me uniquely qualified to fill that role.
I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business and live in Madison, WI with my wife and three girls.
Christian Bayens
Founder/CTO
I am a graduate of Georgia Tech with an undergraduate in Physics and a Masters in Electrical Engineering. After graduation, I spent four years in the Healthcare IT industry resolving issues and designing IT solutions for multiple large healthcare systems around the world.
Now, I focus on tackling the toughest issues in business intelligence from challenging data sources to complex analysis. I love taking a crazy idea, making it a reality, and seeing the results. I am based in Madison, Wisconsin along with my wife, two dogs, and two cats.
Mike MacDonald
Business intelligence Developer
I am an enthusiastic, analytics professional with a passion for utilizing data to help drive decision-making.
After graduating from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, I entered the Canadian telecom industry. My time in this space allowed me to obtain valuable business intelligence and cross-functional experience through many customer-facing projects, ranging from Base Management planning to dissecting network architecture.
Soon I discovered the creative outlet associated with exploring data and as a result am always looking for fun, new ways to build visualizations. Residing out of Ontario, Canada, I’m often on the hunt for new bike paths, live music, and opportunities to be active outside (yes, a personalized dashboard for each of these exists). With this energy, I'm thrilled to grow with Kery Solutions and forge new experiences while continuing to positively shape performance.
Rebecca MacDougall
Business intelligence Developer
After earning my Honours Bachelor of Psychology from Saint Francis Xavier University, I began my career in the Meat and Seafood industry, where I discovered my passion for report design and data analytics.
As a member of the Kery Solutions team, I am thrilled to continue to develop my report design skills and use my expertise to provide clients with business-critical data. With our advanced interactive Business Intelligence tools, I help clients make informed decisions that drive their success.
I reside on the East Coast of Canada in Nova Scotia. When I’m not working, I enjoy exploring my interests in dance, piano, and taking long walks with my dog, Mr. Kovu.
